On the 29th of November 2015 there was a swimming Gala in Monaghan Leisure Complex. Scoil Éanna were represented by Conor and Éanna Curran, Shauna Lennon, Lucy Boylan, Ursula Markey and Catherine Walsh. They competed in breast-stroke, front crawl and back-stroke.
Conor Curran won every race that he competed in and therefore he won a trophy for best male swimmer. Éanna Curran came second in front crawl and back-stroke and 3rd in breast-stroke. Shauna Lennon came 1st in front-crawl and backstroke. Lucy Boylan came 3rd in the front crawl and Catherine Walshe came 2nd in the breat-stroke.
The school’s total count of medals was 10! That led us to wining best school in the gala by just 2 medals
